Estonia went for 3-0 and won the tournament


Estonian boys U18 won Latvia in the last game 71:65 and secured the trophy of BSBC 2020. Finland crushed Sweden 71:47 to take the second place.

Hosting team Estonia started aggressively and after two and half minutes of playing they were leading 9:0. They pushed on hard in defense and managed to held on to their nine point lead after first quarter (24:15). Latvians managed to cut the deficit to five – 41:36 at the half.


In the beginning of the third Latvia made a 6:0 run and took the lead for the first time (42:41). Despite that Estonia still managed to get back in front by five heading to the last period. They didn`t let the opponents any closer than four points in remaining five minutes and secured the win and the trophy.


Kasper Suurorg scored 20 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished out 4 assists for the winning team. MVP title went to Markus Ilver who had 12 points and 7 rebounds in the last game. Noa Daniels Viljamsons scored 16 and was named the best player for team Latvia.

Finland dominated the opening quarter and took 25:15 lead before first break. In the second period things got more competitive but Finns increased their lead by 3 three points at the half (41:23).


Third quarter was also equal but in the beginning of fourth, Finland made 7:0 run and that was a final turning point of the match.

Finland was lead by Max Besselink who scored 20 points and dished out 6 assists. He was also named the best player for his team. Romeo Myrthil answered with 11 points from the other side. Tom Sanne was named the best player of the tournament for Sweden..
